Real Madrid refused to beg their former coach, Argentine Santiago Solari, regarding the talented Norwegian Martin Odegaard.

Spanish radio network Marca reported that Solari wanted Odegaard to return to real Madrid's first team last year.

Solari begged Real Madrid for The Return of Odegaard

Solari took charge of Real Madrid's training duties between October and March last season and asked the club to return Odegaard during The Mercato January mid-season.

Ødegaard was then active in the ranks of Vitesse Arnhem of the Netherlands on loan from Real Madrid and begged the coach to manage Real Madrid on his knees "literally" to bring the club back to Santiago Bernabéu.

The Norwegian international has featured in a remarkable form with his current team Real Sociedad and has been providing special levels with San Sebastian this season.

The player joined Sociedad on loan from Real Madrid for two seasons, having spent the past two seasons also on loan at Heerenveen and Vitesse in the Dutch league.

Real Madrid can include the player from the Basque team in the current period by cutting off his loan and compensating Sociedad for 2 million euros.
