Danilo reveals why he refused to move to Barcelona

Brazilian Defender Danilo revealed why he refused to move to Barcelona four years ago when the Catalan club made an offer for his services.

Danilo started his career on The European pitches in the Porto shirt, and then moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2015, but his experience was not very successful at the Santiago Bernabéu, to be forced to leave and move to Manchester City in the summer of 2017, and then signed Juventus in The Mercato last with a reciprocal deal with João Cancello.

Danilo preferred Real Madrid to Barcelona because of his father

Danilo explained that while he received an offer from Real Madrid, Barcelona was also interested in him, but eventually, he took his father's text and decided to sign for the royal club.

I had to stop and think, Barcelona was very interested, so I called my father and asked him, Danilo said in remarks highlighted by the Spanish newspaper.

"I asked him if you were in my place, which team would you choose? I thought from his point of view, he told me he was moving to Real Madrid, because he is the most serious, and I have already moved there, and it was a fun experience."
