Former teammate: Hazard doesn't train hard

He didn't train hard, but he was the man of the match.

John Obi-Mikel praised the talent of his former teammate, Eden Hazard, when they were at Chelsea, but criticized his coaching style.

The duo played together at Chelsea for five seasons, before Michael moved to the Chinese League in 2017.
"Hazard has an incredible talent, he may not be Messi's talent, but he does what he wants when you're with him," the Nigerian player said in televised remarks.

The 32-year-old Nigerian believes the toughest player he has ever played alongside is Frank Lampard, the current Blues coach.

"He didn't want to train hard, but he was always the man of the game, it was incredible," he continued.

Hazard joined Spain from Real Madrid during the last summer transfer window but has not yet shown the required level.

The 28-year-old Belgian has played for the Royals so far in 11 matches in various competitions, during which he has scored a goal and another industry.
