Navas: Coming back to Madrid was strange and I didn't understand why they pushed me away

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper and current Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas confirm that his return to the Santiago Bernabéu has made him feel strange.

Costa Rican star Keylor Navas confirmed that playing for Real Madrid in recent years has changed a lot of his life after joining the royal club after the 2014 World Cup.

Navas made a press statement during which he stressed that he did not understand many things about his recent t-time with Real Madrid before joining Paris Saint-Germain.

Navas said: "Playing for Real Madrid has changed a lot in my life while I didn't mind playing in the Spanish second division, this big club came and showed interest in me."

He added: "As a child, I wanted to play for Real Madrid and when their offer came I agreed immediately without considering my contract despite being busy with many important games at the time."

"It's all in the past for me, there are some things that I don't understand why they happened but they're already in place and they can't be changed," he said.

"I shared a very good experience with Zidane at the time, he defended me in a lot of approval and gave me the confidence that I could well," he said.

He ended his remarks: "When I returned to the Santiago Bernabéu I did not think whether they had missed me or not, maybe then they saw that my period with them ended even though the return was strange."

Navas was involved in Paris Saint-Germain clash with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu in a match that ended in a 2-0 draw.
