Madridista anger over The Clásico referee

Real Madrid angered by the appointment of Alejandro Hernández as referee for The Clásico

The appointment of referee Alejandro Hernández as manager of the anticipated clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona next week has sparked a wave of anger in Madrid circles.

The Spanish Football Federation announced this afternoon the appointment of Alejandro Hernández to manage the El Clásico showdown on the 17th of this month.

Immediately after his appointment, the Madrid press began to talk about the controversial arbitral awards that came from the prospective director of The Classico Land.

José Luis Sánchez, a renowned Spanish journalist, said that Real Madrid was disturbed by the appointment of Hernández Ándezández as referee for the Clásico match.

He added: "Everyone here is angry because they think that there have been many cases that have occurred in the past that have seen decisions that are not in the interest of Real Madrid."

Hernández Hernández has managed some recent Clácán clashes, most notably the 2017 second leg, which saw Sergio Ramos's dismissal and Cristiano Ronaldo's controversial penalty shoot-out.

It is worth mentioning that Real Madrid and Barcelona have achieved the same number of points so far and share the lead that the Catalan team has so far decided by the difference of goals.
