Monaco player reveals reasons for refusing to move to Real Madrid and Juventus

A busy journey of injuries for the Monaco striker

Stevan Jovetić, the Monaco striker, has revealed the reasons why he has refused to move in the past to Real Madrid and Juventus and his preference for Manchester City.

The Montenegrin player made his star with Fiorentina in 2008, moved in 2013 to Manchester City, then returned to Italy from the Inter gate, and then left for Monaco.

Jovetić said with "La Gazzetta": "The period in Florence was special because it was a wonderful city and a special audience, I went to Manchester City in 2013 for ambition."

He continued: "Juventus wanted me, but it would have been a betrayal of Fiorentina fans if I went, I wanted to win, the Premier League is the hardest, winning it and the cup is unforgettable memories."

"I made a mistake by rejecting Real Madrid in 2009, I wasn't ready yet if I had time, I don't know".

His time at Inter: "Mancini was changing the plan a lot and he changed me and left me out of the team, and times I didn't deserve, but I have great memories of that period."

"My contract with Monaco until 2021, I respect the club and I want to give everything I have, but Italy is my second home and I will be happy to be back."

Throughout his career, Jovetić suffered a variety of injuries that affected his level and kept him away from the field for long periods.
