Van de Beek settles his destination between Tottenham and Real Madrid

Dutchman wanted after big shine with Ajax

Spanish and Dutch reports revealed the next destination for the Dutch international and Ajax player Donny van de Beek after being strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid and Tottenham.

The young midfielder finished 28th on the Ballon d'Or list after leading Ajax to a domestic double and a Champions League semi-final last year.

The Daily Telegraph said van de Beek had decided to approve Real Madrid's €55 million offer and to complete the deal next summer.

The newspaper pointed out that the player told Tottenham that he preferred to move to the ranks of the royal club, although Tottenham Hotspur intensified his efforts in the past days to complete the deal.

The Dutch newspaper's statement is in line with what the Dutch newspaper has said about the Real Madrid manager's preference to include van de Beek on the contract with Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

The Spanish newspaper reported that Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane believes that Paul Pogba is the piece that lacks his team, but the management has already prepared a contract for the Dutchman instead of the Frenchman and remains his negotiation with his agent.

Ajax will play a crucial week in the Champions League when they host Valencia midweek to qualify for the round of 16.
