Zidane: About the Champions League draw - Real Madrid will overtake Liverpool

A draw is waiting in a few days.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane commented on his team's passage to the round of 16 of the Champions League after coming second in the group, and the possibility of meeting one of the top people.

Real Madrid defeated Club Brugge 3-1 on Wednesday night, qualifying with Paris Saint-Germain for the next round.

Zidane told reporters after the game: "Liverpool? If we play Liverpool we will overcome it and decrease it, there is nothing to do now about the draw."

He continued: "Happy with the victory and the way we played, we suffered because they changed the way they played from four in the back to the usual, we needed 15 minutes to adjust, the second half was better."

"I don't think he feels lost, he played a little bit and he needs to be in better shape, today he made a good game and needs to continue like this."

He concluded: "The problem is my problem and not yours, it is not easy because he does not participate constantly, but he knows the situation and needs to play."

Real Madrid will know their fate in the Champions League on December 16th after the draw for the next round.
