Odriozola on the cusp of a move to Bayern Munich

According to Spanish press reports, Real Madrid's right-back Álvaro Odriozola will leave the club during the current winter transfer window to get the chance to participate in the matches regularly.

Odriozola came out of the calculations of coach Zinedine Zidane, urged only 434 minutes this season, and was completely excluded from the list in 17 of the 28 meetings.

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Odriozola does not train with the team at the moment, in preparation for his departure on loan until the end of the season after he failed to convince Zidane to rely on him.

Bayern Munich closest to Odriozola and Bilbao a possible destination

Bayern Munich is among the clubs most interested in getting Odriozola services in the current winter Mercato, given the presence of many injuries in the right front.

The report added that Bayern Munich wants to repeat the experience of James Rodriguez again by contracting with the reserve player Real Madrid, and the player prefers the option of the Bavarian club over the rest of the other options.

There is also interest from Athletic Bilbao, who sees Odriozola as a solution to his defensive problems on the right front, but Bayern Munich's priority remains for the player and Real Madrid management.
