Real Madrid has reportedly agreed a €55million (£47m) affect Ajax for highly-rated Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The Ajax star has been one among Europe's favorite midfielders since his stunning performances helped them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.

According to Marca, a deal has been agreed to require the 22-year-old to the Bernabeu but he won't arrive until next summer.

Van de Beek first caught the attention of Zinedine Zidane last season with a powerful display within the Bernabeu as Ajax beat Real within the Champions League last-16.

It is claimed in Spain thought that Van de Beek's arrival will mean a minimum of one current Real player is going to be shown the door.

Speaking during Ajax's mid-season training camp in Qatar, the playmaker said: 'I have said it before and that I will say it again: I will be able to remain at Ajax this season. and perhaps next season also.

'These reports about Real Madrid or Manchester United are an honest sign, but it's not important now. I've said I will be able to stay at Ajax and that I will do so 100 percent.'
