Former Real Madrid talent appears in Volendam

Mink Peeters has signed a one-and-a-half-year affect Keuken Kampioen Divisie side FC Volendam.

In 2014, Peeters decided to swap Ajax’s academy for Real Madrid but the winger couldn’t make his breakthrough in Spain. He then had unsuccessful loan spells with VVV-Venlo, Almere City FC and therefore the Spanish lower league side Lleida Esportiu.

Last summer, Peeters swapped Madrid for a permanent move to Serbian side FC Cukaricki. However, after failing to form one appearance, Peeters has returned to the Netherlands.

The 21-year-old has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with FC Volendam. He begins with their reserve side and can look to urge his career back on target under the guidance of former Ajax youth coach Wim Jonk, who is that the head coach at Volendam.
