Ashraf Hakimi is divided between staying at Dortmund and returning to Real Madrid

Borussia Dortmund player Ashraf Hakimi has spoken about his future in the coming period and if he plans to return to Real Madrid after the end of the loan period this summer.

The Moroccan international defender joined Borussia Dortmund on loan in the summer transfers in 2018, while he is playing for the German club amid a remarkable development in his technical performance.

The 21-year-old's loan spell with the Lions will end in the summer of 2020, amid expectations that he will return to Real Madrid after recently snatching attention with his strength level.

Ashraf Hakimi has yet to decide what he will do this summer.

Ashraf said in an interview with the German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten on Tuesday that he has not yet determined which team he will play with next summer: "My heart is divided between Dortmund and Real Madrid."

"There are still six months until summer, which means a lot of games haven't been played yet, but at the end of the day, I'll be the one to make a decision about it," he said.
