Jovic: I can't believe what I'm doing with Real Madrid when I watch my YouTube videos

The Serbian striker Luka Jovic admitted that he has not shown the level expected of him this season so far.

Luka Jovic moved to Real Madrid at the beginning of this season from German club Eintracht Frankfurt for 60 million euros but has not succeeded in convincing Zinedine Zidane so far and competing with Karim Benzema for the main seat.

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic comments

Jovic said in an interview quoted by the Spanish newspaper "AS": "I had no doubt about my quality, I always thought I had a great talent and that I was the best, I was just waiting for a chance with Benfica but I did not get it, in Frankfurt they believed in my talent and got the opportunity there."

He added: "The best goal for me is that I scored in Schalke in the semi-finals of the German Cup, as well as my goal against Leganés because no one can register with the Real Madrid shirt."

He continued: "I needed to think a few days, to think about the fact that the best team in the world wants me, no one can reject Real Madrid it comes once in a lifetime and I don't think I made a mistake."

"There is a negative atmosphere when people talk about what I am doing with Real Madrid, but I think I will prove to people why I am here."

"Honestly, I'm not happy with the season at least yet, or because I can show better, sometimes I see my videos last season on YouTube and ask myself what happened?"

"But we all know that Real Madrid is a huge club, and it's hard for experienced players to get used to it, and it's going to be more for the 21-year-olds, they've paid 60 million euros, the pressure is huge, but I'm fighting until the situation changes."
