Mourinho: I cried because of the loss with Real Madrid against Bayern Munich

Mourinho confirmed in an exclusive interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca that the defeat of Real Madrid against Bayern Munich, in the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2012 was the only time he cried as a coach.

Bayern Munich qualified for the final from Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu, winning penalty kicks, before losing the title to Chelsea.

Mourinho said about this game: "Unfortunately this is football, Cristiano, Kaka and Sergio Ramos, three monsters in football. There's no doubt about that. But they are also human beings."

"That night was the only time I cried after the defeat in my career as a coach, I remember that very well, and I pulled out with Karanka in front of my house, and I was crying in the car," he said.

"It was tough because we were the best of the season," he concluded.

Real Madrid has won the La Liga title this season with a record 100 points and 121 goals.
